Čanji Robert - guitars

Popov Dragoslav -drums

Milošević Dragan - bass

The group was founded in 1990, by already well-known musicians from Subotica who played in the groups BOLID and OCTOPUS. The founders of the group FAUST were: Tibor Cindrić (vocalist, composer and songwriter in Serbian and Hungarian; the only original member who is still in the band today), Rudolf Vojnić (drummer, played in the bands BOLID and OCTOPUS; left the band in 1994, and is certainly among the 10 best drummers in the old Yugoslavia), Dragan Mijatović (guitar, played in the bands BOLID and CRNA VATRA, main composer and songwriter in group; left FAUST in 1995), Robert Sic (bass, played in many groups from Sombor; excellent bassist left the group in 1994), Toni Savevski (solo guitar, played in several groups from Subotica; joined FAUST in 1992, and left it in 1995). Melodic hard'n'heavy music was played with two solo guitars. At concerts, they play only their own compositions. From the very beginning, they played at every Zaječar guitar festival in the period from 1991 to 1996, when in the revue part of the program, together with other big groups from Yugoslavia, they were well received by the audience. Along with performances in Yugoslavia, they also perform in neighboring Hungary at all major festivals and in clubs with well-known names of the Hungarian scene.

In Hungary, they have so far released 4 albums in Hungarian and 6 albums in Serbian. Also, one of the songs is on a compilation of the best Hungarian groups. In 1991, they released their first album "OLUJNI JAHAČ" for Jugodisk in Belgrade. In 1995, the album "VATRA" was released only in Hungary, but it was completely sung in the Serbian language. They bring several hundred cassettes to Yugoslavia and distribute them to fans all over Serbia and Montenegro. In 1996, completely new members join the group and the band's vocalist, Tibor, begins, i.e. continues to work with younger forces. New members are: Saša Solga (guitar, composer and songwriter), Zoltan Kleno (bass), Vladimir Miletin (solo guitar, composer and songwriter). The drummers Nemanja, Robert, Mario and Goran took turns on the drum chair, until finally the experienced drummer from Srbobran, Attila Toth, came in 2001.

They haven't played in Yugoslavia for five whole years and at the invitation of Zoran Nestorović, the director of the record company ONE Records, they are signing a contract for the new album "NOVI SVET". The CD and cassette will be released in mid-2002 for the aforementioned ONE Records. In March, after five years of not playing in the South, they went on stage at the two-day 'Hard'n'Heavy' festival in 2002, quite skeptically, but both the younger and older audiences received them very well. This gives them strength, it is clear to them that it is worth playing rock music in Serbia, because there is a very large audience that likes it.

During the years, Tibor Cindrić, as one of the founders, "kept alive" Faust, but now with the return of Dragan Mijatović, they are determined to once again conquer the concert podiums in these and not only these areas. Apart from the aforementioned duo, the group now includes Darko Mijatović, Jules Šindeleš and Atila Tot.

"After the Hungarian Metal Hammer's offer to publish our old releases, we decided to re-record all the songs and during this summer Aquarius studio released a set of 18 tracks, which in their new guise seem even more mature and fiercer, and in terms of production far ahead of the old recordings", say the members of the Subotic band, who this time gave up on recording and publishing the already ready third album. All songs were recorded in Serbian and Hungarian. The Hungarian variant will be published under the aegis of Metal Hammer with an initial circulation of 25,000.

After the release of the album in Hungary in 2013, gigs began in Budapest and Serbia. At the end of 2013, there are changes in the group. A promising young solo guitarist from Kikinda, Balint Laszlo, is coming, who is studying in Subotica, but after more than half a year he is going to live in Budapest. Then there is the new young bass guitarist Juszkan Viktor from Subotica who, after finishing school, is going to continue his education. Aleksandar Feher comes on keyboards for the first time as a member of the group. Tibor, Attila and Aleksandar remain in the group. The new members are also guitarist Daniel Kaszas, from Subotica, and bass guitarist Robert Szebenyi, also from Subotica. Slowly everything falls into place and rehearsals and performances begin. An offer is coming from Miner records for a new album. FAUST enters the studio and records the album "PAKLENIH 25", which will be released on December 31, 2015. In 2016, they played concerts in Serbia. In 2017, a compilation for Miner records "HALLOWEN PARTY" was released, where they are represented with one song. At the beginning of 2017, new songs are slowly being written, concerts are being played and the studio is being entered.

In 2018, a new album will be released for the Serbian market "...BOJE I NOTE..." published by Rocken roll records. Kikindjana's Robert Čanji joins the group as a guitarist. Their performances are in various cities of Serbia. After that comes the new bass guitarist from Srem, Đorđe Kuljančić. During the composition of the songs for the new album for the Hungarian market, a new bass guitarist from Kikinda, Dragan Milosevic, arrives.

In the fall of 2021, the Grund records album "MINDENHOL" will be released. After the concerts and rehearsals in 2022, the composition of new songs in the Serbian language will begin.

After rehearsing the songs, the studio recording began and the release of the album in the fall for Fidbox "EMOTIVNI LJUDI". FAUST continues with performances in Serbia. In the autumn of 2024, after the departure of Toth Attila from the band, a new drummer, Popov Dragoslav – Daca, comes from Kikinda.

FAUST starts writing new texts in Hungarian. Robert Čanji, guitarist and composer, together with Tibor Cindrić as a songwriter will start creating new songs and after almost a year, songs are being prepared for the studio. At the beginning of 2025, the new album "A JOVO SUTTOGASA" is being recorded, which will be released on November 14, 2025 for Grund records.
